Compaq iPaq H3650 Pocket PC:

In my opinion -- this has to be the sleekest PDA on the market. I have mine on back order, and probably won't receive it until after the first of the year. I truly wonder how much market share this device could take away from Palm, assuming that quantities were flush. I've only used the store model, and it is incredible! 6.3 oz. of pure lean muscle.

A) There are, however, 2 drawbacks that I noticed:

1) there isn't a flash memory slot like the HWP 540 series

2) the device isn't fully internet accessable like the Palm VII or VIIx

B) A perfect PDA in my mind would be the following:

1) a model similar in design to the iPaq product (perfect picture, plenty of applications)

2) 24/7 internet access (complete internet, not web clipping) at a minimum of 28.8 speed

3) possess a flash memory slot

4) not weigh more than the 6.3 oz. (the Palm Vx is perfect at 4 oz. but has limited applications); there is a huge difference between a HWP 545 at 9 oz. vs. an iPaq H3650 at 6.3 oz. (I truly believe 6.3 oz. is the top weight that a PDA should possess)

5) possess instant email applications like the RIMM product line

C) I'll bet this type of device is available in the next 18 months.

Just my opinion,

Have a great day,
