different screens were used but all were screened for value by price to sales.
also, screened for margin- which is what is hurting camp.
screened for increasing revenues,
screened for price/sales ratio,
screened for earnings surprise,
screened for debt.

i have been using a series of screens and these are some of the stock which have appeared.

i have a great list of companies with strong earnings and revenue growth but when i started to look at them value wise their was a great difference between them.

screen #1 has more value than #2,
#2 has more value than #3, etc.

Harry i know you are a very good investor and i appreciate your ideas.

i decided to post my screens because i have found what i think are stocks with low risk and high reward potential but
i have just started to invest in them and thought i needed some help and ideas to keep me going in this direction.
thanks,zx

Last saturday i was thinking about tax selling and started to look at the nasdaq.
here are some of my thoughts.

NAS/NMS COMPSITE-- finance.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=2y.
dip oct 98.
high mar 00.
from sept 98 nas has trended steadly up.
from ~1400 to 4000 now.
finance.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=1y
From jan99 to now it looks like the nas is at the same level.

market correction april-jun 99 corrected overvaluation
from oct 99 to mar 00.

this could show that there may only be losses for those who bought at the top, end of feb 00 till early april 00 and who still own the stock.
there may just be some selected tax loss selling and probably not market wide selling. wonder how this will affect the nas stocks trend in general though.

finance.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=3m
since aug 12 nas has been in a nice uptrend.

good point about the money managers, and people holding stocks and options (long or short), if they bought in jan they are even now.
(unless they sold at the top and rebought or visa-versa.)

the chance of a big october exists.

added to my brkt, cmos, and cmtn postions at the close friday. figured there would be a bounce this am.
wonder if i should take profits or let it run.

brkt up 4.2%, cmos up 2.5 % and cmtn up 7% today so far.

Harry, do you screen for stocks falling through or closing above their 50 day MA.
TIA
