No, Tomato dubbed me macros and he didn't give explicit permission to use it outside the diamond threads -g- ... yes, i like this one a lot, it is my biggest position at this point and i've been preaching it, like jdx last year and wsp in autumn '98 ... any less than a four-bagger and i have to move, and get new relatives as well.

Initially i got in the first day of March on John Powell's headsup on the momo thread, based on the SEG story, then bought more around 2.50 based on the chart , then various smaller buys, then in the spring tankola i sold only that necessary and replaced them asap, now i've been buying since 23 June at 1.65 [i stated on SH that i started on 22 June at 1.71, well that wasn't true, i had an order in but it didn't catch that day], lots in the 1.20s ... it's getting to be a long story now -g-

The depth to which it tanked during the summer was surprising [to me anyway, lol] ... irrational from a fundamentals perspective, but predictable maybe from a realistic market-workings point of view - the general market negativity, then all that cheap PP paper coming out ... which should be pretty much bought up now, and the blocks over the last months seem to indicate serious players getting placed.

Originally i bought it for the SEG story, which i still see as the sexier of the two by far, but now see that CIBT developments could give the cpt paper the start of a boost, now that these guys have beaten me over the head with it ... in any case, the current cpt market cap of ~8mUS$ looks to me well underpinned by the established [6 years] and profitable operation of CIBT, and Irix is certainly not going to hurt, so the downside risk appears to me minimal.

What risk there is will be in the timeframes, imho ... the IPOs, and underlying them the development of SEG as well, could be delayed, possibly due to harsh market conditions ... but the October Events tend to be less drastic in US presidential years, and in any case the IPOs and subsequent development will happen sooner or later, as all players involved are strongly motivated to make a success of it ... this is one of the things that has most impressed me - check out the contracts with the sponsoring GEM houses, the broker alliances, the Augsback deal et cetera ... Chu has set it up so he's got friends onside everywhere ... and recent trading in the cpt paper has augmented this imho ... check time and sales for most days over the last three months.

You're an accountant, right? ... i used to enjoy your NAV calculations and explanations of valuation methods on the wsp thread ... i'm sure you can appreciate the thoroughness of keith's investigation on this one ... the first half-dozen posts on this thread make a fine place to start an overview of the thing, then his AGM notes from early Aug give good update ... i sure do hope it works, i've got nickels and ego both on the line here -g- ... cheers
