Yes there is, you are protected by federal law. Just call your credit card company and tell them that you dont owe the charges and ask them to remove them from your card. They will and at the same time will contact the cable company for a justification of the charges.

No work.........equals no pay. The cable company will then be in a position to have to justify the charges. If they cannot then they don't get to charge you.

Forget about installers or middle men. You're not doing business with them, although the cable company may be. That is not your problem.
