Greg, Bluetooth vs. LonWorks, good question.

To the best of my knowledge Bluetooth was primarily to set wireless interconnection tech. between telecommunications and computing devices.

ELON,imo, already took it to the next level. Their LonWorks internet ready system networks an entire structure including utilities, lighting, security, fire safety, appliances and etc. Their system seems (I agree, seems) to have set the standard.

It's my belief the network capabilities will be desired by the individual household, in addition, to apts.,ofc. and comm'l buildings.

I don't think Bluetooth will be able to take LonWork on, in regard to a network, and don't think it's just another good idea. The utility and fire safety features alone should spur great interest. Excellent question, however, and would welcome other thoughts on the matter.

Thanks Greg,
Rick
