my favorite astronomy concept is the Black Hole
(the cosmic antithesis of my shfinkta)

I was brimming with excitement once seeing two star systems slowly sucked into a black hole, illuminated from behind

you cannot see a black hole
but you can see evidence of one
NOVA had a great show on black holes a year ago
imagine a bowling ball on a bed mattrass
if the ball is too heavy, it falls thru to make a hole
excellent analogy
silly me, Jim

Third place belongs to John Cleese, Fawlty Towers, but that's a different story.

Back to lurking....
