however, TA tells me that $50 has been a strong support over the last year. I can imagine mm´s driving CMTN through $50 next week to 47, in order to trigger some stop loss orders.

the downtrendline is today around $57 and declining. the descending triangle narrows with cmtn at the support of $50. will be interesting to watch what happens when cmtn falls through the 50´s support. i bet that such action won´t last and will later be interpreted as a bear trap.
