Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, a die-hard believer in the 'Old Economy,' is scratching his head, wondering how productivity can keep growing with the economy in a record 10th year of expansion.

Options Jerry why are you so bearish? Earnings pre announcements from techs?? IMO these warnings will not materialize from the good companies in the new economy.

I'm concerned many of the bulls have been scared out. Then again, this may be a good turning point indicator.

No argument here, I agree with you completely... these are rare times, much like the industrial revolution was in the 1890's and the post WWII upswing we experienced in the 1950's... I don't know if we'll really understand the enormity of the technical surge until some time later in this century... we're only in the midst of the early stages of this incredible new phase at the moment.....
