That's an awful lot of words from CMGI to say that "When the latest results becme apparent, we backed away from promised International Joint Ventures because we could not afford to do otherwise". " Instead we are going to try to cut back and get our affairs under control so that we can survive to fight on in the future".

It wouldn't have helped their stock any, but then neither did their approach, and think of all the economies they could have made by reducing the gobbledygook to a minimum.

Cheers

P.S. Any shareholders that are confused are dumber than I thought possible. This news is not unexpected if you learn to read between the lines where the real goodies are hidden.
If I was on the BOD and had management that didn't know that every time a dollar came in through the door they were spending more that two dollars to get it, I'd vote to fire the lot. It doesn't take a brain surgeon......

I forgot to say thank goodness they opted out it saved the unpleasant need for Richard to throw them out. PCW needs partners that can make profit, not ones that flush a good thing down the what-do-you-ma-call-it.
