Charles,

As the resident anti-MSFT gadfly, you spend a lot of time parsing and critiquing the jetsam and flotsam of Microsoft news.

Although this may be a hobby or avocation for you, I wonder if you couldn't spend your time more profitably looking for and studying fine companies to invest in.

Of course you would simply dismiss the Sun Memory problems.

"True. If you want to run something that's only available on Windows, then you're stuck with Windows. Ain't monopolies grand?"
Not what I said. You avoided the question.

You must concede that your statement, "Well, at least the training folks will have job security" is not based on any real knowledge about Whistler the CONSUMER NT version of Windows. Right?

"To get back on topic: I don't think Sun realized EBay wouldn't routinely apply OS patches as they became available; that's remedied now."

Loevely, Sun's mission critical OS needs to be routinely patched?
That's sure is a comfort. Why don't they wait until it's bug free before shipping it?
