AND GENERAL MANAGER OF SAN JOSE OPERATIONS

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 12, 2000 - DMC Stratex Networks,
Inc., (NASDAQ: STXN) one of the world's foremost solutions
providers for broadband wireless access, today announced that
Beth Kahn has joined the company as vice president and
general manager of its San Jose Operations. Ms. Kahn is
responsible for ensuring the success of the San Jose
Operations, including managing engineering, manufacturing,
quality, and supply chain management for key product lines.

business groups. Her experience includes managing products

applications. Ms. Kahn earned a BS in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Idaho and an MS from
Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This is great news. We've now had two announcements
demonstrating that STXN is making solid progress toward
solving their component shortage problems. I don't expect
revenue to be completely back on track in the present
quarter; but, with this sort of progress, it seems quite
likely that revenue will be back on track in the next
quarter.
