DAK, airlines have implented two $20/round-trip "energy surcharges" already this year. While I don't pay a lot of attention to prices when traveling on business, I just booked tickets to Lexington KY and the best fare was almost $380. It was in the low $200's last October. FWIW

Clearly, there is no inflation. It's a true productivity miracle. <g>
