Don't get me wrong, though - this is one where I'll be pleased to have my prediction explode in my face. At this point, I see it going to Lewis by KO in a middle round. I'll of course refine that prediction as we draw nearer, but of what I see right now, Tua is fighting heavier and heavier (which at some point = slower), and will be fighting one of the more difficult kinds of fights here - punching 'uphill.' His strategy will almost certainly be to slip inside, blast away, and slip out before the monstrous overhand right comes. That is, if he can get inside, as I'm sure that Emmanuel Lewis has Lennox perfecting the Ali-styled, "measuring" jab (not to mention the overhand right and left hook counters) to ward off exactly that. Also, I'm not sure that Tua has had his chin tested lately. I know for a fact that he has rarely, if ever, had it tested in the stretch. As we all know - having watched one of my favorite heavyweight fighters - when a big puncher finds that his game plan doesn't work, and gets into later rounds getting tired and frustrated, he becomes a huge, plodding, and desperate (read: careless) target. If Tua can get inside, he's got more than a puncher's chance, as it is widely suspected (and I'd add, likely the case) that Lewis' chin is porcelin (not glass, but, well...you get the picture). But I think that Lewis will keep him outside and take him into territory that for Dave has gone untrod for some time - rounds 4, 5, 6, 7, and on. At that point, I think Lewis brings the pain. As of now, about two months out...that's how I see it. Dave - prove me wrong, and I'll eat those words ceremoniously! LPS5
