RESEARCH ALERT-DLJ raises Sanmina 2001 EPS estimate
NEW YORK, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette on Monday said it raised its 2001 earnings per share (EPS) estimate for electronics contract manufacturer Sanmina Corp. (NasdaqNM:SANM - news) to $2.45 from $2.34.

-- Raised its price target to $150 per share from $135 per share, saying the company's ``business is terrific.''

-- Said its new 2001 EPS estimate of $2.45 ``will be easily beaten.''

-- Sanmina shares closed in Friday trading on the Nasdaq at $103-7/8, below their 52-week high of $119-15/16 and well above their yearly low of $37.
