no how no way can I analyze anything akin to Eric Jhonsa.

Cert is an interesting stock nonetheless with a chimp attitude. Unclewest and I have found each other on the CERT border and its web page is excellent place to start

certicom.com

First an enabling technology and an open proprietary technology with patent protection and no tornado although revenue (and expense growth) accelerating.

Business model akin to Q where licenses are sold, royalties are (eventually) garnered when 'design wins' translate into products sold, and products and services sold. Working on verticality with PKI products on top of their ECC standard.

" Certicom’s security technology is incorporated in products spanning a variety of marketplaces including wireless solutions and devices, security, mobile enterprise applications, consumer applications, and smart card solutions. BellSouth Wireless Data's BellSouth Powertool™ Software incorporates Certicom technology to assist developers in designing wireless solutions which utilize the BellSouth Intelligent Wireless Network (SM). Palm, Inc.'s wireless Palm VII™ handheld computer and Palm.Net™ leverages embedded security from Certicom as does Hewlett Packard's OpenView family of IT management solutions. Certicom security is also embedded in Intuit's Quicken, TurboTax and QuickBooks consumer products and in GSM mobile applications provided by Schlumberger. " from website

This company would make an excellent hunt report (hint, hint)
