I told you I'll be back just as soon as it snows here . You should try the local joy juice. Guaro is sugar cane licor. Smooth, cheap, 60 proof, great with pineapple juice. This place is primitive, or I guess it's more PC to say undeveloped. The roads are unpaved. There's not five stars in all the "hotels" in town. But it's a real fishing village, an afrocaribe jewel with a national park anf coral reefs. Colourful wooden houses setting on stilts, howler monkeys roaring their macho territorial boasts. The color is intense. September is one of the prettiest months here. I feel totally realized.

Glad to see my QCOM Set 60's sold last Thurs. (I had been neglecting business at home.) Amazing to trade in a shack on a mac with geckos at my back.
