Seems like a good indicator of a business cycle top. During the last recession, the management consulting firms were armed with the concept of "reegineering", and although that term can no longer be mentioned in polite company, the paradigm paid the bills for a while. Look at what the Big Thinkers are saying now: bcg.com What a tribute to the power of abstraction! The ability for managers to achieve "asset productivity", of course, breaks down when a little macroeconomic instability enters the scene...

this link was forwarded to me by a concerned SI member... it appears i am being called a "dungboy" by LG and you are being called "slick". Those sound like personal attacks to me? time for LG to be TERMINATED? or is it OK, if you call people names on websites and then link them? i guess we could post on raging bull and then link it? (BG) check the link in the thread header... there you will see where he calls us names.... (which was a personal attack last i checked?)
