CC, Everytime I mention a name, the sucker gets taken out. My two longtime favorites were Arco and Snyder, now both gonzo. The being taken out was nice, but I miss those stocks to play. Right now, I own Burlington Resources, Union of California, or, Unocal, as its alias is now construed, Santa Fe Snyder, which, given my notes above, is part of a position I had on when it was just Snyder, and Plains Resources. None of these are straight gas plays, but they are tilted toward the gas side.

I really think we are near the peak in stock prices right now. The stocks are still not overwhelmingly expensive, though all have done well. So, I am down to thirds in nearly all cases and looking for that last pop to trade out of them. However, I like this area and always come back for more.

As far as NG futures go, we are having our 5th in a row summer call for a colder than avg. winter, which probably means it will be warmer than usual again. That would make me a seller of the further out NG futures if I were so inclined. I have not been so inclined thus far, but I find my posture getting more and more bent that direction every day. <g>
