Lew,

No gasket blowing here.

At this point Lexar's legal moves carry little meaning.
For most SanDisk investors LEXR is a known and easily quantifiable entity.
Their latest actions are so transparent that the element of surprise is totally lacking.
Perhaps I was a bit worried about LEXR until the court decision this Spring.
Even before that judgement Dr. Harari expressed confidence that SanDisk would prevail.
Now he feels Lexar's latest moves are purely strategic.
Well, I have found that Dr. Harari is usually right.

What redeeming qualities does Lexar have?
I can't seem to think of any at this point.

Finally, today's buy recommendations by the three investment houses mentioned earlier opens new horizons for me on exactly how "The Street" works. The underwriter wants to lop off a big chunk of the IPO and less than a month later people are pumping the stock to no end.

Go figure.
