Thanks everyone for the real time quote suggestions. For those using the YAHOO ECN quotes, be aware that the quotes cover only a portion of all trading. I had my broker check the closing numbers on a few stocks and they did not match his level 2 feed from the exchange. TWICK, good point about getting proper real time quotes. Up to a few months ago it did not matter in my trading style as I was typical using end of day numbers, but as the volatility has increased being without real time quotes is costly for my trading account. What have people's experiences been with the various services under extreme conditions. I know my broker said even his feed was no good in a heavy market under extreme conditions. The last quote was typically behind actual trading, and even the bid and ask was suspect as the electronic trading just could not keep up.
