That link didn't exactly take you to the part about the deal with Infospace from June 5 so I'll put it here...it is in my opinion pretty strange that there is no mention of that deal over on the archives for infospace news...probably just a screw up but at least makes you think the remote possibility they didn't want to make that to public since they might want to buy it at a good price later...just a thought

Cell-Loc teams with InfoSpace to deliver next generation
location-based services to mobile devices

Partnership to integrate location information with InfoSpace's localized commerce and
information services

CALGARY, June 5, 2000 /CNW/ - Cell-Loc Inc. (TSE:CLQ), a leading wireless
location-based services provider, today announced an agreement with InfoSpace
(NASDAQ:INSP), a leading global provider of infrastructure services for
communication, information and commerce for wireless devices, merchants and
Web sites, that will result in the speedy roll out of advanced location-based wireless
Internet services to mobile device users in North America.

Through the agreement, Cell-Loc will work with InfoSpace to integrate Cell-Loc's
highly accurate wireless location-sensitive technology with InfoSpace's tightly
integrated suite of commerce, communication and information services. This will
enable the delivery of services that are customized to a wireless device user's
precise geographical location including traffic reports, directions to the nearest
Italian restaurant and the ability to comparison shop and receive promotions from
nearby merchants.

"This relationship is a major step forward in offering location-based wireless
Internet services to consumers," said Dr. Michel Fattouche, president and CEO,
Cell-Loc. "By combining the vast resources of InfoSpace with our
location-sensitive services, we are enabling a truly unique suite of mobile
applications."

"In order to realize the full potential of mobile commerce, Internet technology must
be leveraged to drive customer traffic to traditional brick and mortar retailers and
service companies, where 90% of consumer spending flows," said Naveen Jain,
chairman and chief strategist of InfoSpace. "The ability to pinpoint a user's precise
location is key to delivering these services and we will continue to partner with
cutting edge providers of this technology in order to maintain our position as the
leading provider of advanced wireless Internet infrastructure services."
