something about not wanting to intervene against the trend...heck, i don't know what these fools are thinking...imo they have failed to do what they were charged with doing, i.e. preserve the value of the currency.

Shroeder figures Mercedes and Porsche will just make more money if it keeps going down... he hasn't figured out that those added DM's are still worth the same amount of gold as before... or does he see the coming collapse of the dollar and figure he'll let it start from a higher level to mitigate??
