Company Press Release
Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. - Vancouver Technology Company Helps Aid Democracy and Freedom of Speech in Serbia
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 2000--

Serbian Elections and Opposition Voices Broadcast to the World

Using RadioDestiny(TM) Internet Radio Technology

Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:DSNY) is putting RadioDestiny(TM) Internet radio technology to work in a truly revolutionary way, as FreeSerbia continues to provide Serbians and the world with an independent, non-censored report of the upcoming Serbian elections.

On September 21, the major opposition rally in Serbia was broadcast on the Internet using the RadioDestiny Broadcaster(TM) radiodestiny.com, and ongoing coverage of the upcoming elections will continue on the FreeSerbia web site (www.freeserbia.org) on their NETRadio.

"This is great example of what Internet radio is supposed to do, to facilitate freedom of speech and provide voices to those who can't access the media," said Destiny CEO Steve Vestergaard.

FreeSerbia is non-profit, non-commercial and non-governmental organization, based in Belgrade, fighting for the freedom of speech and democracy in Serbia. Almost all electronic media in Serbia are controlled by the Milosevic government or by those opposition parties that have won the local elections.

The central government news agency, controlled by Milosevic, has called FreeSerbia 'a NATO sponsored group of traitors, and their broadcast is a form of rebellion'. Friday's news reports state that the central media in fact are calling this non-authorized media outlet.... "NATO sponsored propaganda".

According to Vestergaard, "FreeSerbia's resources are very limited, but using our internet radio technology, they're able to broadcast across Serbia and around the world. They are operating under the constant threat of being shut down by the police, but for now they are continuing to broadcast vital information and providing a non-censored view of the election. In fact, most of the surrounding Balkan states radio and media were picking up and re-broadcasting the FreeSerbias' radio streams."

The election coverage will be webcast beginning Sunday September 24 at 7:00 am PST. Listeners can tune in through either www.freeserbia.org, or www.radiodestiny.com where they can easily download the small media player and tune in. Destiny expects to see up to 10,000 simultaneous listeners.
