<<Definitely less than perfect management, but they HAVE
done something right, otherwise the stock would be back at $6 presplit.>>

Exactly right. Part of the package you buy when you buy MRVC is the management style and lack of news. If people can't take that, they should sell and move on.

The big guys (NT, LU, CSCO, etc) own the big market shares, but they DON'T have the best technology - not even close.

Even an up and comer like JNPR has to be worried (even while they are currently taking market share from CSCO). Their top of the line M160 router, while several times faster than CSCO's 12016, is still 2 1/2 times SLOWER than CWNT's BASE product - and CWNT scales from there and handles ATM and TDM Voice instead of just IP based traffic.

Stealth is an absolute requirement until contracts have been WON, as the Big guys can "steal" them from you even at the last minute with price reductions, vaporware "promises" made to senior execs, and who knows what else.

I have seen inferior technology win several times in my working career, even when the techs all recommended the superior technology (which had passed all tests).

Once this happened, and we (techs and middle management) couldn't understand it. We found out a year later, the equipment that was about to lose out had already been delivered to the dock. When salesmen's commissions (or potential loss) are involved, it is amazing how the IT head honcho can "suddenly" change his mind.

I believe we might be nearing the bottom for this event.

The last time we rode through the valley we very briefly touched the 48's before showing strong support at >50 on good volume.

This time we touched the 58's but showed strong support at >60 on good volume.

All if the NAZ doesn't tip over, of course.

Opinions?

Regards, Bill
