The American Investor.... Interesting story. I'm in a steel mill today. Have the lap top out here just outside the Foreman's office where I tapped into the phone line. Some of the workers on the production line saw me just a minute ago and came over.

These were laborers. I would suspect the extent of their education was high school. They were dirty from head to toe (if you've ever been in a steel mill you know what I mean). Point is, these were not the kind of folks you'd expect to be doing what we do with stocks, nor even know what Wall Street is.

Anyway, one of the guys asked me if I was on line. I said as a matter of fact I was. He asked if I'd check his stocks. Next thing I know we have about 4 or 5 guys huddled around my lap top and we're looking at real time charts and quotes. They were all in techs except one guy that was in Walmart.

I had a great discussion with them about their investments. I was especially impressed with two of the guys that said they put back a certain amount of money for investments each month. Couple of them had mutual funds, too, by the way. They told me stories of how they will put back $50 or $100 each month. I told them I was impressed with their discipline to do such a thing.

I asked them if they were worried about the Naz. Each of them said "no" and went on to say they would buy with what little they could, on dips.

This reminds me of that guy I ran into in a truck stop last year on the Arkansas/Louisiana border that I told ya'll about.

Anyway, look out Wall Street and you big guys up there for Joe American has read your book.... and they say "bring it on."
