Remember, unless you buy one of the new Epson printers with special ink, your printed photos will have a shelf life that won't last past the middle school years. And how many g'mas/g'pas, aunts and uncles are digital?

Will you have a device in 25 years that can read the CDs that you create today? Who knows? I have some 8' floppy disks that I cannot read. I have some documents on floppies that are in a format that no program running on Windows or Unix can read.

I'd opt for film for valuable photos, everytime.

BTW, I got a complaint about the OT discussion here, so out of respect for the plaintiff, this is my last public post on digital camera stuff. We can go to the Curmudgeon thread and talk, though there will be complaints there that we are talking about a real subject <g>.
