Oh yeah, OPEC is raising production and the price of oil will fall. Oh sure...just like like it did last May.
Asking (er Clinton is begging) OPEC to raising production is like begging the fox to guard the hen house.
Fact is that with the drilling moratoriums we have and the rate we are sucking up oil, we are in a real baaad position.
Begging OPEC to increase production is a joke.
If the people believe the government is helping it's just another indication they are way too trusting...

Ted,

It's September. Things the market would usually ignore tank the market in September, why?, hell if I know. I think we should rally a bit from here through options expiration, but I don't know if we will be out of the woods until we start getting some (hopefully) good earnings guidance next month. All bets are off if we get a big tech earnings warning this week.

All MHO, and there are times you could make a tidy profit doing the opposite of what I do <g>.
