Eric: My thought, boiled down to a single point is this: Unless there is an immediate drop in energy prices -- which seems highly unlikely and perhaps even impossible -- the risks of an economic slowdown, combined with a squeeze on profits, is very substantially increased. That is what you are seeing in the market as financial assets are re-priced accordingly. Sorry if I put my elbows up from time to time -- I just have no interest in dissecting the oil market -- unless you see something I don't which would lead us to believe that energy products will drop more or less right now -- or over the next couple of months.
