Roger I only wish you the best.BRCM is a good company, until proven otherwise.

But why are some of you trying to bank on a high flyer?

There are so many stocks that have huge growth ahead of them. If you have patience with a vulnerable stock that is at 300+, why not with a 20-60 dollar stock that is just getting going?

There must be hundreds, and a little research should provide you with 5 very good potentials for every one BRCM.

Like I said before , I am a believer in the Power Semiconductor stocks (ie: APTI SYXI IRF).

Selected alternative energy /fuel cell stocks will also be good. Fuel cell power is all but assured to be a future source of energy.
Just look at the strength of BLDP FCEL PWER...am I saying to chase those last three high flyers? of course not. But the field is a comer. Keep an eye out for young players.
Possibly HBTI , an upcoming ipo.

What other stocks are you happy with long term?

Sure, it's fun to own a 200 dollar stock that goes to 300, and hope for 400 or a split.
But the percentages aren't there unless you get the rare CSCO that never quits (until lately).

Buy the power semiconductor stocks on dips, if you are a long termer. 3 years from now you'll be patting yourself on the back for having the foresight. Sorry they aren't at a bottom... but then neither was CSCO 4 yrs ago when someone told me to buy it and hold for good. No I didn't listen.

I'm done, sorry you asked?

Regards ;-)
