engineer: just wondering if people don't use the auto=trading part of ta to game a stock. If you are suggesting that Specialist, Market Makers and even other investors use TA to play a stock...sure, happens all the time. You should see the shenanigans that goes on Level II. But in the end, it has been my experience for many years, that a correct read "usually" wins out... EDIT: That is one reason why I use and highly recommend using "real time" indicators with all support or resistance areas and or chart pattern resolution expectations to guide you at those intersections.
