if the analysts continue to modify their losses to be greater, Amazon is not on the road to profitability.

Did you notice that Blodget also adjusted his figures to $0.32 loss for Q3 2000? This seems to be guidance from AMZN.

The 2001 loss estimate for the whole year is $150 million. I do believe AMZN is now near the break even point, and will post small losses in Q1 2001 through Q3 2001 with small profits in Q4 2000.

However, long range I expect AMZN to have profits of 3-10% of sales, which means that even at $20 this company would be overvalued.
