Well, I haven't found out the tech data on their battery yet, but I've been told that all three phone manufacturers (can you say QCOM?)carry a charger that fits in a car cigarette lighter (if your car has one...mine doesn't). Another possibility is a small hand cranked gen which a poster saw in a UAL flight mag (mini versions of what you see in WII flicks). I don't know what exists in the world of solar chargers, but that seems the best bet.

(Personally, I'd leave the phone at home. If the wilderness gets me, so be it. I want to escape from the phone). I like using a hampster on a wheel hooked up to a mini generator. In the desert, you might try a kangaroo rat. At sea, try a wharf rat.
