First, being a philosophical theist, I believe in no dogma. Secondly, even among Christians that is a debated point, since aborted children are unbaptized. But finally, this life has a value which should not be despised by the callous killing of the unborn. I would no more encourage the killing of the unborn than I would the killing of infants or toddlers. I will refrain from characterizing your suggestion.........

No, you don't even know basic Christianity. Baptism is the purifying of the soul. Abortion doesn't give the newborn the chance.knc

that response was stupid when you brought it up over a year ago, and it is even more stupid now.

Following your grand scheme of things, why not just kill you too? and everyone else, then we will all have judgement day huh?

get a grip

TP, The aborted get what ever God judges they should get like the rest of us. You don't judge that they get a free ride any more than I can judge that they don't. If the religious scholars on board care to tackle that ok, but it is pretty much a non-issue for many anti-abortionists like myself.

There are two pertinent issues, however, that definitely bare on the judgement of souls. The first issue is in regards to the individual human being(s) who is empowered make a decision to take the life of the baby. Is it a just killing or an unjust killing? I am afraid that it is unjust from the baby's point of view and in the vast majority of cases it is not even an issue of deciding between the mother's life or the baby's. The second issue is regarding all of us as a society. Are we a culture who condones the unjust killing of babies or a culture that condones it. Its a yes or no question. The problem is, for most of us the answer can not be reduced to a simple political decision. I for one will continue to speak against what I consider to be infanticide. Your insincere mocking of the conditions of human souls is embarrassing.
