What Stockcharts is Watching Today:
A disappointing day for the Nasdaq as it fell below
both major moving averages and confirmed the PPO
"sell" signal that occured last Friday.

"NAZ and NDX are coming up with tests of support."

I think you get a more valid lower (support) trendline for the NDX if you use the same days, but the bottom of the bodies (closes). If you do, you'll see that yesterdays close is the third point on the line, and would indicate that support failed today. Can someone tell me where max-pain is for the NDX?

I'm not a big believer in trendlines, although I pay more attention to them on the indexes than for individual stocks where I believe horizontal R/S bands have more validity.
