At least they haven't eaten the cat and dog. Yet.

I don't remember seeing many crows when I lived in N Va. Lots of songbirds. Cardinals. Robins. Crested Blue Jays. None of which are here in the West. We do have Red Tailed Hawks and Roadrunners in the neighborhood.

I definitely notice the crows. They wake me every morning with their raucous cries. This morning it was especially bad, and I thought I even heard a baby crow amongst them, but probably not.... maybe it was a teen crow. Whatever, it was weird.

I don't think other birds are singing this time of year, so we're left with the crows. IMO there has been a definite increase in the crow population. I sleep with the windows open because I don't like the AC at night, so I'm very attuned. They're my alarm clock.
