Deano,
Let me state up front...I currently hold no position..Long or Short in this stock. Over the past year I have held and profited greatly from shorting this stock.
I merely offer my information so that in the future you will understand the implications of how news releases are issued and how they can mislead.

If you will go to the news release of 9/08 concerning the relationship with Microsoft, you will note that this release strictly came from WAVX. MSFT had no part nor did they sanction this news release. If you will check the news release by checking the MSFT site, you will find that on a given day you can see as many as 20-30 news releases posted that relate to MSFT...directly or by some nebulous assosciation.

The way that you determine that it is a direct and joint news release is to look after a company is initially mentioned in a news release. If you don't see immediately after that company's name in brackets the exchange this company's stock is traded and the ticker symbol for this company(usually highlighted in blue)then the company isn't sanctioning this press release. Also if it is a joint release, normally at the end of the news release you will see a contact person given for the respective companies...if it is a news release sanctioned by that company.

The only reason I mention this(and I hope it is taken in good faith) is to help you understand...a news release is often NOT a news release that has any directly relevence to how a stock will react. And if you go back and look at most of WAVX's news releases they never never never mention any money being given to them for their products.

With all this said, as of late WAVX has been on a roll with those news releases...but I now hope you understand that a mere news release is just that.... a release.
