I found that quicken.com shows a quote of VARLE at the OTC.

It is around 6.

Francois.

Hi all again, I m no accountant, but my impression is that the restatement will not kill this co. The CEO's move to vacate the BoD is also laudable. I think VARL(E) has a good case [and capitalisation] to get back to Naz National Market after all said and done. That said, there are at least 2 major stumbling blocks for the co to return to visibility. Lawsuits and credibility. Also, it is unlikely there is any buyout interest, given to the circumstance. Still, I ve canceled my GTC sell order for now. First, I am not going to give the OTC MMs a free ride. Second, I think there is a good possibility for the share price to regain a bit more, especially if it can get back to Naz NM. I still think I don't want to keep it for long, b/c of the visibility issues

best, Bosco

30-35MM is just an unbelievable write down considering that the company at 3/31/00 had equity of $52MM or so and assets included $12MM or so of cash and short term investments.
Sounds like their previous auditors are going to get sued too. That is a far cry from mistating a couple of million dollars worth of revenues. The news release leaves a lot to be desired too imho. What will be the fate of the insiders/creative people?
