a ceo "leaving" is not always a bad thing.... of course, i wonder if he left with a foot up his *ss. some have said he didn't mesh well with the vc's. also, the money is in, the technical expertise and expansion are in place. maybe he was just a rainmaker and has done his part of the job and they need someone to take the company to the next level (a big-name ceo, such as spivey) when they ipo....heck for that matter, maybe JNPR wants to increase their stake and don't feel he's the man to run what might become a part of JNPR.
