Open Standards-Based Routing Software from Nortel Networks Gains Additional Supporters More Than 200 Companies Now Licensed to Use Open IP Environment Software Suite BOSTON, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ - Network equipment manufacturers Mahi Networks and Paragon Networks have added their names to the growing list of companies who have licensed Open IP Environment from Nortel Networks (NYSE/TSE: NT) to help enhance performance and interoperability of their networking products while decreasing time to market. A leader in building the high-performance Internet, Nortel Networks has more than 200 licensing agreements for all versions of the Open IP Environment software suite. These agreements span customers in a variety of markets, including network processors, semiconductors, operating systems and network equipment.
