Hi DAK,

Heard today that there was some protests, scuffles, etc at the petrol (gasoline) stations even in my hometown . This French idea of protesting over fuel tax hikes really is catching on...I expect some will request to send over a few guillotines next -g-

Lowering taxes seems such a good idea to me..especially fuel taxes. HMG (The British Government) is doing it's best to blame the OPEC and the Oil companies (who are usually guilty as hell. I have a in-law brother on oil tankers. I expect they are steaming around in circles at the moment -g-). There is much headfaking and BS going on.

Business is already being hit hard. Lots of delays everywhere.

Net result...the good folks in the UK are going to push fuel taxes down IMHO. The government is in a minority of about 50+ million to 600.

Also, this protesting idea is catching on here again too.
The overprotective nanny has got a real problem on it's hands with the kids. Who knows what's next? -g-

The Conservative party screwed up everywhere EXCEPT the millenium dome. They are going to kill the Labour party with that.

pearly.
