Or you could view it as the destiny for the industry. If any other industry took 2 years to close down an unprofitable enterprise (homestake mine), they would be out of business in a heartbeat. The industry should close every unprofitable mine as expeditiously as possible removing uneeded supply and improving the companies cash flow.

Mark, yesterday you convinced me how bearish gold I was that I bought some more gold stock.

BTW, while we wait (for the next 1000 years for gold to appreciate again <LOL>), notice how the price of copper keeps cranking?
