As I was walking 'round Grosvernors's Square there was a chill to the winter and a nip to the aire from the other direction , she was calling my eye , thought right away that, I might as well try , might as well try... she had rings on her fingers , ... and bells on her shoes, and I could tell without looking ....she was into the blues, She had scarlet begonias ....tucked into her curls I could tell right away that, ...she was not like other girls other girls In the heat of the evenin' when the dealings got rough She was too pat .... too open ... too cool to bluff, As I picked up my matches , and walked out the door, I knew right away that, I had been there before, been there before...
