thanks for the heads up on The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton Christensen. i want to read it. i was ready to pull the trigger at amazon.com, then i got an innovative idea.... try the library! <g3>

That's a much more elegant way of saying what I was trying to say in my post. I wasn't aware of the book but I will get it. These different perspectives are always useful in examining new and innovative technologies to try to answer some basic Q's about whether they are a short lived phenomenon or something that will change the way we do things on a daily basis.
