Your post made me laugh...
When Cw went through his wild hair stage this past year, one
of my arguments was that his girlfriend surely liked it better in his old preppy style, and he said, oh no, Stacy likes it this way.
You have to know S., who is like a young Jackie O., very dignified and perfectly dressed, and very classy, to wonder at this sudden lapse in taste. I suppose her gift for graciousness and diplomacy was at work.
I learn quickly. I shut up.
We can only worry in silence about choices they make, and bite our tongues so that we don't alienate them and make it worse, although really, this guy sounds pretty cool to me.

I think it sounds like YOU like him too, and I know you have excellent people judgment. You invited me into your home, after all, and I could have been an ax murderess.

Well, that changes things -- so he was relatively normal (in appearance, at least) before she got hold of him?

All my girls are trying to change about their boyfriends is a) their taste in music (get off that hard rock/rap junk)and pets (the girls love cats, the boys want to get a rat for a pet. UGH.)

I should count my blessings!
