Hi Tim:

Funny, the last time i checked, it was still September. Feels more like October. Seems as though we have a classic "pump and dump" by the powers that be. The talking heads in the media were talking up a storm about the big rally come labor day. It's been a downhill slide ever since. Gotta think contrarian. Now if I didn't know better, I would think that the houses are using this to go bargain basement shopping. The eternal question is when does one let go.

Philisophically yours,

David

Notice how CBS MarketWatch reported the PPI this morning:

The producer price index for finished goods fell a surprising 0.2 percent in August. Economists were looking for a 0.2 percent gain.

The core PPI, which excludes energy and food prices, rose 0.1 percent, a bit less than the 0.2 percent expected...

The August report confirms that inflationary pressures have not broken out to any substantial degree.
