Nobody is totally sold on China CDMA adoption...that's why QCOM is trading at 62 and not over 100 (where it was when China was priced into the stock). Perhaps it is a political ploy. The market is clearly not yet convinced. That said, the downside is perhaps 10 points or so if China backs away again...as the low 50s has held a few times when it seemed only bad news was being priced into QCOM. The upside is likely more than 10 points. Well worth the risk imho.

while i empathize with your skepticism, there are too many things coming together pointing that it is for real this time. did you listen to dr. j's interview today? by now, you should know how to interpret what he says. if you really think it's chinese b.s., then sell your stock when it hits 70.
