onliest big concern I gots is from item#9 on EARNINGS

with pockets of slowdown, I dont expect broad and strong earnings
I expect most techs and other sector leaders to have strong earnings
I expect the lesser players to show some struggles

I doubt that RETAIL is the only area for poor earnings or topline growth

Voltus, what do you make of such strong Utility Index ???
my take is that interest rates are to continue declining
with crude oil costs and natural gas high, we have contradictory signals
could utility firms be much more efficient with new monitoring or inventory methods???
I doubt it
could investors be hiding in utilities as opposed to consumer goods???
probably
with consumer firms so deeply expanding overseas, they have lost their appeal as safe havens
they have become foreign economy proxies in recent years
