That doesn't mean Blodget didn't ask the company where he stood relative to other analysts,
and which number looked more feasible. Someone somewhere must have mentioned to him
that his interest expense number was too low. Remember he chose not adjust his estimates
for the France announcement, even though he said it would have an impact.


Blodget only had to look at First Call for the other analysts. I imagine ML subscribes to that service<G>
