I just found that press release on stockwatch.com.

Looks like potentially alot more dilution in the number of shares.
Some people "and we can guess who" are not going to like this.

I hope the shareholder meeting is in Fredericton again, because it should get very interesting. Some people are going to be very angry.

I am guessing that the move in the stock today was to prop up the share price slightly in order to make the private placement at 0.15 rather than any price lower.
If my guess is right, then the share price should drift back downward.
I hope I am wrong and that there is actually some interest in the stock.

Well, now we know why the price was dropped to .15c. Typicall broker manipulation in order to get as much stock as possible for the money raised.
As a rule, unfortunately, management support is required for this to happen and usually does it happily, as they are most often the insiders who participate in this type of financing.
But, on the bright side of things.... EMR is still able to raise financing....at the expense of its shareholders...
Now, maybe we can get some long awaited for news....
