Strategic alliance? I think that means NEC gets to make RDRAM for free, and they'll be paying 0.001% royalties for SDRAM and DDR. Does anyone have a link to indicate that I am over or underestimating the royalty rates?

Who is next? Samsung. Now that another friendly company (NEC) with strong ties and a mutually beneficial relationship has signed the old trusted partner Samsung will sign too. There is no reason in the world why Samsung should refuse. The BUS is leaving again...put on your seat belts.
